Pauline J. Rucker, 104, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at her home in Vandalia, IL.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 26, 2021, at McInturff Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Joe Lawson and Father Zach Edgar, officiating. Friends and Family may gather at the cemetery at 10:30 AM on Monday. Memorials: Fayette County Hospice. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 21, 1917, in Shelby County, IL, the daughter of Alphus Monoah and Jesse (Lovelace) Beck. Married William M. Rucker on March 13, 1942, in Rossville, Georgia, he passed away September, 1996. She was a retired Beautician; member of American Legion Auxiliary and Mother of Dolors Catholic Church, both of Vandalia.

She is survived by: Daughter - Penny Denton, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Brad Denton & Sara, Julie Morell & Chris, Blake Denton & April and Brice Denton & Hattie; 11 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
