Pattie A. Swofford, 72, of Brownstown, Illinois, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 22, 2022, at Griffith Cemetery, Rural Brownstown, IL, with Pastor Dennis Warner officiating. She was born September 18, 1949, in Bingham, IL, the daughter of Jeff & Edna (Jay) Brown. Married Gary Alvin Swofford on November 18, 1966, in Ramsey, IL. She worked at Wal-Mart - traveled around and helped set up computer systems; and was a clerk at Discount Tobacco, Vandalia, IL. Pattie was a member of Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: Husband - Gary Swofford, Brownstown, IL; Son - Bart Swofford, Brownstown, IL; Granddaughter - Cheyanne Mazander, Greenville, IL; Great Grandchildren - Hadrian Cox, Jensen and Katyrina Mazander; and Brothers - Jim Brown & Ruth Ann, Vandalia, IL and Paully Blue, Tennessee.

Preceded in death by: Her Parents; Brother - Brownie Brown; and Sisters - Peggy Ayers, Bonnie Harper and Shirley Hill.
