Patricia Joyce McPherson, 74 of Vandalia, went home on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 5:47 am. Pat was born on August 1, 1950 to Floyd and Ila Mae Cummings.

Pat had a love for crafting, crocheting, floral arranging, and interior decorating. She loved to collect teapots, chocolate sets, and wicker baskets. She had a love for porcelain dolls, especially her Shirley Temple collection.  Pat loved to decorate her patio with wicker rockers and beautiful tropical flowers.  She loved to go on shopping trips and walking the beach to collect seashells.  She always said the Outer Banks NC was her "slice of Heaven".  She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Patricia is survived by her Fiancé of 35 years, David Gardner; Children, Doug (Emily) Reisner of California, David Devore (Sarah Mietzner) of St. Elmo, Sammie Veach of Effingham, Curt Spicer of McLeansboro, and Brandy (Landon) Carrico of Alabama; Sisters, Marsha (Jim) Camp of Indiana and Brenda Goodman of Indiana; and Brother-in-Law, Eddie Rogers of St. Elmo; Grandchildren, Fallon Hendrickson (Matt Braun), Colton Reisner, Morgan (Evan) Clark, Nathan (Peyton) Stowe, Nicholas Stowe, Zachary Stowe, Kelsie (Eric) Probst, Taylor Veach, Haley Veach (Jake Bierman), Keegan Veach, Jaxon Spicer, Cody (Ethan) Potts, Cole Crockett, and Peyton Johnston. She also had 14 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Floyd and Ila Mae Cummings; Brothers, Dickey and Sam Cummings; Sisters, Debbie Hobson and Becky Rogers; Brothers-in-Law, Dennis Hobson and Floyd Goodman; Grandchildren, Blake Devore and Ely Devore; Nephew, Jay Camp; and Great Granddaughter, Harlie Hendrickson.
