Olivia Mae Blain, 17, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023, in Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. Private burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 7, 2023, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. She was born December 27, 2005, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Brian David & Jessica Rae (Carter) Blain. She was currently studying at Kaskaskia College and working as a CNA at Aperion Care, St. Elmo, IL.

She is survived by: Her Parents - Brian & Jessie Blain, Vandalia, IL; Brother - Dylan James Blain at home; Paternal Grandparents - David Blain & Kathy, Vandalia, IL; Maternal Grandparents - Brad & Dixie Carter, Ramsey, IL; and Great Grandmothers - Joyce Carter, Vandalia, IL and Jean Askins, Pana, IL.

Preceded in death by: Great Grandfathers - Jim Carter and Gloyd Askins; and Great Grandmother - Judy Diveley.
