Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 10, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Pete LeDuc officiating. Burial will follow at Green-Hill Cemetery, Rural Fillmore, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11A.M. Monday, February 10, 2014, at the funeral home. Memorials: Donors Choice. He was born January 26, 1944, in Mulberry Grove, IL, the son of Alvin W. & Shirley E. (Stokes) Doyle Stewart. Married Vickie L. Holbrooke June 14, 1980, in Vandalia, IL. He was a retired Laborer for Van Tran Electric and was affiliated with Crown Point Church, rural Vandalia, IL. He is survived by: Wife - Vickie, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Jerry Stewart & Rachel, Chad & Douglas Stewart, all of Vandalia, IL; Brother - David A. Stewart, Effingham, IL; Half Brother - Donald Doyle, Kansas City, MO; Step Sisters - Chrystal Aukamp, Vandalia, IL & Pam Riggs, Pana, IL & 3 Grandchildren - Jacob, Garret & Bailey.
