Norman Floyd Royer, 97, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at The Loft Rehabilitation of Decatur, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Mulberry Grove City Cemetery, Mulberry Grove, IL with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. Burial will immediately follow. He was born December 23, 1927, in Bond County, IL, the son of Ameil Manuel & Hattie (Elsworth) Royer. He married Elma Pauline Browning. She passed away on July 6, 1977. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Burlington Northern Railroad for 36 years and was affiliated with the Church of God, in Vandalia, IL.
