Norma V. Willms, 89, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Fayette County Hospital LTC, Vandalia, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Liberty Christian Church, Brownstown, with Rev. Joe Lawson & Pastor Don Thomas, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2013, prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Memorials: LTC Families That Care; Friends & Families of Fayette Co. Hospital, LTC, both of Vandalia, IL and/or Emmanuel United Methodist Church, rural Brownstown, IL. She was born August 14, 1923, in Sefton Twp., Fayette Co. IL, the daughter of William & Kleeora (Payne) Jones. Married Gerald E. Willms October 23, 1942, in St. Charles, MO, he passed away May, 2004. She was a Homemaker; Member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Rural Brownstown and United Methodist Women. She is survived by: Sons, Paul Willms & Susan, Shobonier, IL; Joe Willms and Aileen, Vandalia, IL; John Willms & Kathy, Brownstown, IL; Half-Sister, Marcia Luster, Vandalia, IL; Step-Sisters, Phyllis Bruno and Carol Calhoun, both of Vandalia, IL; Step-Brother, Ted Forbis, Dewey, AZ; Sister-in-law, Shirley Jones, Vandalia, IL; 12 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Preceded in death by: Parents; Step-Mother, Zelma Williams; Husband; Son, Melvin Willms & Brother, Melvin Jones.
