Norma J. Warner, 87, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Vandalia, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Terry Westerfield and Al Schumacher officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM,* before the service* Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at the Funeral Home. Memorials: United Methodist Women @ First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www. millerfh.net. She was born June 06, 1927, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Harry Austin & Amelia May (Stimson) Thompson. Married Clarence "Gene" Eugene Warner on May 12, 1944 in Vandalia, IL, he passed away April 16, 2007. Norma was a retired Floral Designer for Vandalia Greenhouse. A member of First United Methodist Church & UMW; Crawford-Hale Post # 95 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary; Pink Lady @ Fayette Co. Hospital and Cameo Club all of Vandalia, IL, Norma was an avid saver and quilt maker. She is survived by: Son - Steve Warner & Nancy, Shobonier, IL; 2 Grandsons - Ronnie Warner & Melissa, Vandalia, IL and Jason Warner & Rachel, Florissant, MO. 4 Great Grandchildren - Casey, Taylor, Claire & Dean; 3 Nephews - Paul, Harold & Jerry Fisher; 3 Nieces - Ginny Wilber, Alice Thompson and Ruth Vanzee Preceded in death by: Her Parents, Husband, 8 Brothers,and 2 Sisters
