Norma Jean Younker, 86, of Vandalia, Illinois, formerly of Ramsey, Illinois passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Fayette Co. Hospital, LTC, Vandalia, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, IL with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, IL. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Norma was born June 10, 1936, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Rudy O. & Irene (Crotser) Potts-Burson. She married Donald E. Younker on April 9, 1955, in Cairo, IL. He passed away July 23, 2009. She graduated from Vandalia High School in 1954;worked as a janitor at Crane Packing until her retirement;was affiliated with the Baptist Faith; a member of American Legion Auxiliary in Vandalia, IL; an avid bingo player; and she loved spending time with her family.

Survived by: Daughter – Penny Richards & Special Friend J.R. Hammond, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren – Jason Paslay & LaTisha, Vandalia, IL; and Great Grandchildren – Jalea Gordon & Curtis, Coronado, CA and Jarrett Paslay &Gabby Dossett, Vandalia, IL.

Preceded in death by: Her Parents; Husband; and Sisters – JoAnn Bunyard and Mary Lou Durbin.
