Noah "Frank" Emerick, 81, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Crown Point Church, Rural Vandalia, with Pastors Pete & Greg LeDuc, officiating. Burial will follow at McInturff Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL, with Military Rites. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, December 15, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia and 1 hr. prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Memorials: Crown Point Church and/or McInturff Cemetery, both of Vandalia, IL. He was born August 15, 1933, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Ira E. & Velva F. (Tharp) Emerick. Married Betty J. Carman on October 06, 1956, Truo, Iowa. He retired from Leo Brown Lumber Co. and was a former employee of Johnson, Stephen, Shinkle Shoe Co, both of Vandalia, IL; an Army Korean Conflict Veteran; & Member of Crown Point Church, Rural Vandalia, IL. He is survived by: Wife - Betty; Son - Larry Emerick; Daughter - Pam LeDuc & Pete, all of Vandalia, IL; Daughter In-law - Connie Emerick, Hillsboro, IL; Sister - Nell Gelsinger, Pana, IL; Grandchildren - Greg & Candi, Amie, Noah, Gabe & Chris; Great Grandchildren - Preston, Ryker, Jonah & Adam. Preceded in death by: Parents; Son - Terry Emerick; 1 Sister; 4 Brothers.
