Burial will follow at Forbis Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, prior to the service, Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: New Beginnings Church-Youth Group Department. She was born March 16, 1931, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Clyde Earl & Katie Cleo (Phelps) Crothers. Married Roy Elmer Geddes on September 11, 1948, Decatur, IL., he passed away January 14, 2003. She was a retired waitress; former employee of Johnson Stephen Shinkle Shoe Co. & P.N. Hirsch Warehouse, all in Vandalia, IL and was affiliated with New Beginnings Church, Effingham, IL.
