Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 11, 2011, at Overcup Baptist Church in Rural Vandalia, IL with Pastor Doug Wodtka officiating. Burial will be in Griffith Cemetery, in Rural Brownstown, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL and 1 hour before the service at the church. Memorials: American Heart Fund and/or Relay for Life. She was born on December 14, 1946, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Lee and Catherine (Payne) Outhouse. She married Samuel O. Kistler on October 9, 1999 in Vandalia, IL. Nelda was a retired Machine Operator at International Paper Inc., Shelbyville, IL. She is survived by Husband: Sam Kistler of Vandalia, IL; 3 Daughters: Tammy Pryor and Cheryl Martz & David, both of Nokomis, IL; Cathy Standefer & Dale, Vandalia, IL; 2 Step Daughters: Amy Cleary & Tony, Shelbyville, IL; Tonya Christian & Loren, Assumption, IL; 1Brother: Jim Outhouse, St. Elmo, IL; 1Sister: Glenda Smith & Steve, Westfield, IN; 5 Grandchilden: Andrea, Heather, Brandi, Carissa, Nick; 4 Step Grandchildren; Austin, Allison, Jake, Adam; 3 Great Grandchildren: Jonah, Alex, Parker.
