Morgan "Jiggs" Evans, Jr., 86, of Fillmore, IL, died on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Montgomery Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs, IL. Graveside and Military Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 25, 2011, at Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore, IL with Rev. Ernest Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, in Fillmore, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home, Fillmore, IL. with Masonic Rites @ 7:00 PM. Memorials: Fillmore Masonic Lodge #670 A.F. & A.M. and/or Fillmore IL Historical Society & Museum. Jiggs was born on July 31, 1924, in North Hurrican Twp., IL, the son of Morgan and Lydia "Lula" Louise (Understall) Evans. He married Bonnie Virginia (Brown) Keyes, Bonnie passed away December 15, 1997. Jiggs was a WWII Navy veteran. He worked construction and was affiliated with First Baptist Church in Fillmore, IL. A member of Local #184, Hillsboro, IL; VFW, North Highland, CA; Fillmore Masonic Lodge #670 A.F. & A.M., Fillmore, IL and Ansar Shrine, Springfield, IL He is survived by 3 Sons: Jim Evans, Fillmore, IL, Larry Keyes & Sue, Brownstown, IL, and Rev. David Keyes & Donna, Paducah, KY. 2 Daughters: Teresa Alexander, Fillmore, IL and Pat Eller & Ron, Vandalia, IL Also survived by 10 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren and Several Great Great Grandchildren 2 Brother: Tip Evans, Humboldt, IL and Bob Evans & Maxine, Carlinville, IL. Preceded in death by Parents, Wife, 2 Daughters-Dana Heck & Mickey Harrison, 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
