She was born August 26, 1913, in Shobonier, IL, the daughter of William Francis & Mary Sophia (Anderson) Albert. Married Edward Albert Schmid on July 01, 1934, Shobonier, IL, he passed away September 11, 1995. She was a Homemaker; member of Methodist Church, Shobonier, IL and Loved her Family, Flower Gardening and Quilting.

She is survived by: Sons - David Schmid & Sandy, Ephrata, PA; Mike Schmid, Decatur, IL & Ed Schmid, Shobonier, IL; Daughters - Carol Endsley & Vern, Taylorville, IL, Judy Welch, St. Louis, MO and Mary Schulze & Jim, St. Elmo, IL; Sister - Hazel Stevenson, Vandalia, IL; Daughter In-law: June Schmid, Decatur, IL; 16 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
