Mildred “Millie” Blaylock, age 100 of Assumption, IL passed away on Monday, June 16, 2026, at the Rose Garden of Pana, IL.
Millie was born July 16, 1925, in Bayle City, IL, the daughter of Roy and Mary (Hoover) Davidson. She married Dean Boaz in 1946, and he passed away in 1962. She later married Robert Blaylock in 1982, and he passed away in 1996.
She is survived by her children, Dean (Susie) Boaz of Nalcrest, FL and Mary Jo Hartle of Assumption, IL; daughter-in-law, Cathy Boaz of Decatur, IL; grandchildren, Tami Boaz, Jamie Boaz, Lynnette Broomfield, Christina Wooldridge, Adelle Boaz, Aaron Boaz, Wendy Boaz, and David Bombal; 13 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Dean Boaz and Robert Blaylock; son, Mike Boaz; sons-in-law, Stan Hartle and Paul Stewart; sister, Marjorie Spears; and niece, Janet Forbes.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 22, 2026, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Dollville, IL with Pastor Neil Kaiser officiating. Burial will follow at Ramsey Cemetery in Ramsey, IL. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ in Dollville, IL. Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
