Michael R. Paradee, 74, of Sorento, Illinois, passed away, Friday, May 13, 2022 at his home in Sorento, IL.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home in Ramey, IL, with Rev. Scott Paradee officiating. Friends and family may gather from 6 - 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, IL is in charge of the arrangements. Michael was born on April 3, 1948, in Fayette County, IL, the son of Harold Nelson and Lenna (Shempf) Paradee. He was a Welder; Truck Driver for ADM; and a Logger.

He is survived by: 2 Sons - Gavin Paradee & Jamie, Fillmore, IL and Clayton Paradee & Jenn, Pana, IL; Daughter - Jessica Sarchet & Steve, Patoka, IL;

Brother - Bill Paradee, Greenville, IL; and 2 Sisters - Rosaline Huber, Tower Hill, IL and Alice Rhodes, Herrick, IL; and 10 Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: His Parents; 4 Brothers - Charles, Dale, Ernest and Wayne; and 4 Sisters - Eileen, Elizabeth, Henrietta and Lavone.
