Melvin Carl Eller Sr., age 70, of Pana, IL, formerly of Ramsey, IL passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Melvin was born January 7, 1955 the son of Reynold Reginald Eller and Dorothy May (Kay) Eller in Pana, IL. He was a Teamster, excavator, avid outdoorsman, and life of the party. Vern will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children; Dawn (Michael) Cole, Felechia (Bryan) Williams, and Melvin Eller Jr., grandchildren; Asheli (Matthew) Roberts, Katlyn (Drew) Johnson, Jacob Cole, Faith (Ross) Stock, Waylon Williams, and Melvin Eller III, great grandchildren; Mila Roberts, Kennedy Johnson, and Wyatt Stock, 7 brothers, and 5 sisters.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandchild; Summer Rae Eller, great grandchild; Ryder Joseph Stock, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
