Mary Ellen "Mert" Orsborn, 83, of Oconee, Illinois, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery, Rural Oconee, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the service time at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials: St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital and/or to the family. She was born August 27, 1940, in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Raymond Oliver & Jenette Martha (Davidson) Pauley. She married Vernie Lee Orsborn on February 11, 1965, in East St. Louis, IL. He passed away on January 18, 2022. She worked as a clerk at Murphy's Department Store; and she enjoyed gardening, quilting, and crocheting.

Survived by: Brother - Gary Pauley, Allenville, IL; Sister - Linda Lee & Larry, Shelbyville, IL; Special Friends - Richard & Linda Beck and Rosie and Robin: and many Nieces & Nephews.
