Mary A. Sparks, 89, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020, in SBL Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia, IL.

She was born August 14, 1931, in Mobile, AL, the daughter of George & Clara (Williams) Lee. Married John Ziegler in 1952, he passed away, later married Richard Sparks 1956, he passed away. She was formerly employed at Stella D'oro, St. Elmo, IL, McDonalds and Walmart, Vandalia, IL; Member of Order of Eastern Star, was an amazing cook, loved the St. Louis Cardinals, liked to play Bingo & spend time with family.

She is survived by: Daughters - Mary Klein& Steve and Theresa Smail & Denny, all of Vandalia, IL; Aurelia Dothager & Danny and Bev Swofford & Mark, all of Fairhope, AL; Sons - John Sparks, Venice, FL and Kenny Sparks, Iuka, IL; Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren & Great Great Grandchildren
