Mary J. Jones, 81, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020, at SBL Fayette County Hospital LTC in Vandalia, IL.

She was born June 28, 1939, in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of Rudolph Edward & Ivy Ione (McFarland) Johnson-Hall. She was a former finishing attendant at Forshada (Van Seal), Mary also was one of the best waitresses and bartenders for many local restaurants.

She is survived by: Daughters - Carol Lewis & Brian and Vicky Diveley & Mike, all of Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Tom DePaolo & Julie, JadeSessions & Shawn, Julie Olson, Jasmine Holstein & Nick and Dylan Sessions & Josie; Great Grandchildren; Anna, Eli, Carson, Collin & Cameron + 1 on the way; Brothers - Wayne Johnson & Marilyn, Rockford, IL and James "Jim" Johnson & Lulubelle, Ramsey, IL; Sister - Betty Schafer & Gary, Pana, IL; and several Nephews & Nieces.
