Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 24, 2018, at Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Robert Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, August 24, 2018, before the service at Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Unity Baptist Church.

She was born, February 8, 1924, in Fillmore, IL, the daughter of Eddy Floyd & Cleta V. (Meyers) Paddock. Married Darel Monroe Hayes July 23, 1940 in St. Louis, MO, he passed away May 5, 2016. Mary was a Homemaker and member of Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: Daughters - Connie Grether, Vandalia, IL; Patty Smith & Dick, Carterville, IL and Jessica Peyton & David, Vandalia, IL; 16 Grandchildren; 31 Great Grandchildren; 22 Great Great Grandchildren; Daughter-in-law - Mary Hayes, Concord, NC; Brother - Perry Paddock & Carolyn, Ramsey, IL; and Sister - Cora Spears, Ohio.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Son - Frank Hayes; Grandson - Scott; 3 Brothers; and 4 Sisters.
