Marvin R. Heather, 90, of Moweaqua, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020, at Moweaqua Rehab & Health Care in Moweaqua, IL.

Graveside Service with Military Rites, will be at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, RFD Ramsey with Rev. Jay Huddleston officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, before the services, Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at the Cemetery. Memorials: Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, Illinois. Born, August 4, 1930, in Ramsey, IL, the son Mr. Heather & Georgia (Brown) Heather. Married Virginia Annette Moreland, November 17, 1951 in Ramsey, Illinois, Virginia passed away June 30, 2006. He was a retired Employee of Sloan Implement Co. Assumption, Illinois for 30 years, and a U.S. Army Veteran. Growing up Marvin was nicknamed "Bull", and later as a loving Grandpa it became "Old Papa".

Survived by: Son - Marvin Heather, Moweaqua, IL; Daughter - Darlene Scoles, Moweaqua, IL; Sister - Donna Chrisman, Vandalia, IL; 5 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: His Parents, Wife, Daughter - Brenda Duez, and Great Great Grandson - Gabriel Bowers.
