Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Rev. Joe Lawson, officiating. Burial will follow at Ritter Cemetery, rural Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 26, 2017, at the funeral home. Memorials: To the family.

She was born January 25, 1956, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Wayne E. & Grace Opal (Wadlow) Blankenship. Married James Edward Street September 1976, in Hagarstown, IL. She was a homemaker, retired nurses aid and campground hostess/receptionist.

She is survived by: Husband - James "Jim" Edward Street, Vandalia, IL; Son - Andrew Street, Forrest, IL; Daughters - Amy Mekarski, Fairbury, IL and Nicole Meister, Pontiac, IL; Grandchildren - Seth, Braiden, Caden, Isabella, Jakob, Gianna, Calvin; Brother - Cecil Blankenship, Hennepin, IL; Sisters - Linda Perkins, Warsaw, IN and Phyllis Marshall, Taylorville, IL; In-laws - John & Doris Street, Vandalia, IL.
