Margaret E. Nelson, 95, of Hillsboro, Illinois, formerly of Fillmore, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab Ctr., Hillsboro, IL.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Fillmore Baptist Church, Fillmore, IL, with Pastor Myron Kirk and Mike Plummer, officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore, IL. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2019, at the church. She was born December 11, 1923, in East Alton, IL, the daughter of Lee F. & E. Viola (Rader) Squires. Married Howard Harold Nelson on October 3, 1941, St. Charles, MO, he passed away April 8, 1995. She was a Homemaker; and member of Fillmore Baptist Church, Fillmore, IL.

She is survived by: Son - Bob Nelson & Bonnie, Fillmore, IL; Daughters - Mary Stewart & Dennis, Mulberry Grove, IL and Phyllis Schultz & Ed, Ramsey, IL; 11 Grandchildren; 17Great Grandchildren, and 14 Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Brothers - Howard and Kenneth Squires; Sisters - Ruth Ash and Shirley Campbell; and 1 Grandson - Michael Nelson.
