Lucille E. Taylor, 92, of Vandalia, Illinois, formerly of Mulberry Grove, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018, at Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Jim Quick, officiating. Burial will follow at Mulberry Grove City Cemetery, Mulberry Grove, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the church. Memorials: Northside Christian Church and or Bond Christian Service Camp, Mulberry Grove, IL.

She was born March 1, 1926, in Hagarstown, IL, the daughter of Emery & Gustie L. (Jackson) Devall. Married Charles William Taylor on November 25, 1942, Wright City, MO. He passed away February 8, 1998. Lucille worked until the age of 75 at Owen's Brockway, Vandalia, IL, and a local Furniture Store; and was a Member of Northside Christian Church, Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: Son - Charles "Chuck" Taylor & Deanna, Staunton, IL; Daughters - Sandra Sue Grounds & Gary, Charleston, IL and Diane Little & Don, Oro Valley, AZ; 15 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren; Several Great Great Grandchildren; Brothers - Carl Devall, Lexington, IL, and Edd Devall & Kay, Red Bud, IL; Sisters - Retha Elam & Ralph, Walshville, IL, Mabeth Grotts, Scotts Bluff, NE,and Faye McEachern & Bill, Ft. Collins, CO.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Son - Gerald Taylor; Daughter - Linda Neely; 3 Brothers; 1 Sister.
