Memorials: Senior citizens Center, Vandalia, IL. She was born October 03, 1916, in Vera, IL, the daughter of Dorah H. & Velma Clotella (Patterson) Pummill. Lucy married Eldon M. "Curly" Smith August 03, 1941, St. Louis, MO. He passed away December 21, 2002. She was a retired teller for Farmers & Merchants Bank; a member of First Baptist Church; charter member of DAR ; lifetime charter member of Fayette County Genealogical Society; 60 + yrs. Fayette County Home Extension board member; former member & VP of Senior Citizens Center all of Vandalia, IL She is survived by: Son - Jon K. Smith, Sherman, IL; Twin Daughters - Pam Sapp & David, Livermore, CO and Pat Frost & Louis, Gainesville, FL; Sister - Iris J Hipsher, Murfreesboro, TN; Grandchildren - Aaron, Richie Laura & Megan; Great Grandchildren - Alex & Madison. Preceded in death by: husband, parents, brother - Everette Pummill, sisters - Icel Adorably & Louella Hardin. and daughter -in-law - Mary Kay Smith.
