Carmel Baptist Church in Ramsey, IL, with the Rev. Larry O'Dell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, in Rural Ramsey, IL. with Military Rites Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, November 11, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL. and 1 hr. before service at the Church on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Memorials: To the Family. He was born December 10, 1928, in Ramsey, IL, the Son of Samuel L. and Velva E. (Moreland) Craig. He married Miriam Harston on February 26, 1954, in Vandalia, IL, she passed away January 15, 1992. He was a retired Cutter from Crane Packing, Vandalia, IL; an Army Veteran of the Korean War and affiliated with Crown Point Church, rural Vandalia, IL. He is survived by: Sons - Patrick E. "Butch" Craig, Chad Craig & Janice, and Rodney Craig, all of Ramsey, IL; Daughter - Dianne Ambuehl & Pat, Vandalia, IL; Sisters - Marian Wise, Evansville, IN; Virginia Chambers, Newburg, IN; & Rosie Mosby, Evansville, IN; 12 Grandchildren; & 8 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Parents; Wife - Miriam; 3 Brothers; 2 Sisters.
