Loral E. "Babe" Williams, 83, of Ramsey, IL, died on Friday, March 15, 2013, at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, IL., with Pastor Terry Sapp, Rev. Ernest Flowers and the Rev. Norris Price, officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery, in Fillmore, IL, with Military Rites. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL and 1 hr prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials: Donors Choice. Babe was born on February 06, 1930, in Rural Ramsey, IL., the son of Jesse R. and Belva (Pettit) Williams. He married Nina E. (Fish) Whitten on December 11, 1954, in Decatur, IL. He was a Farmer; an Army veteran servicing in the Korean War and earning a Purple Heart. He was affiliated with First Baptist Church and the Ramsey Christian Church, both in Ramsey, IL. He is survived by wife, Nina Williams of Ramsey, IL; son, Jerrell Whitten & Shirley, Ramsey, IL; 7 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
