Loma M. Storey, 73, of Shobonier, Illinois, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, SBL Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 12:00 P.M, Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Dan Culbertson officiating.Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Loma was born December 29, 1949 in Leadwood, MO the daughter of Loman & Mary R. (Coffman) Hughes.She married George Storey on July 24, 1967 in Shawneetown, IL. Loma was a bookkeeper for Sandschafer Electric, Effingham IL.

She is survived by: Husband - George Storey, Shobonier, IL; Son - Jeff Storey, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Keri Jones & Tim, Granite City, IL; Grandchildren - Rylee and Mitchell Freese, Kassie Wondolowski and Nicholas Jones; 4 Great Grandchildren – Hollis, Zorian, Elsah and Cyrus; Brother – Steven LaPlant & Pat, Hillsboro, IL.

Preceded in death by: Parents and 1 Brother- Gary.
