Lloyd K. Hill, 89, of Danville, IL, formerly of Ramsey, IL area, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014, at his home in Danville, IL. Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 01, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, IL. Burial with Military Rites will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, in Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 01, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL. Memorials are requested to Mt. Carmel Church and or Cemetery, rural Ramsey, IL He was born on April 17, 1924, in Wenatchee, WA, the Son of Harry K. and LaRena I. (Davis) Hill. He married Arlene M. Walton on November 24, 1946, in Vandalia, IL, she passed away August 24, 1998, he later married Esther (Thompson) Bagley, October 28, 2000. He was a Material Control Specialist for CAT, Decatur, IL and was a World War II Army Veteran. Lloyd loved music and played his guitar in the Church praise band. He is survived by: Wife - Esther Hill, Danville, IL; Son - Gail A. Hill & Susan, Sedona, AZ; Grandchildren- Kristopher and Breana; Brothers - Rev. Ronald Hill & Charlene, Caseyville, IL & Rev. Richard Hill & Kay, Gillespie, IL; Sisters - Virginia Wayne, Fillmore, IL, Velma Denton & Donald, Vandalia, IL; LaVeda Martin, Ramsey, IL, Joyce Walker & Scott, Brownstown, IL & Mary Applegate, Fillmore, IL; Serveral Step Children, 17 Step Grandchildren and many Step Great Grandchildren.
