Linda Wendell, 67, of Amarillo, Texas, formerly of Vandalia, IL, passed away Wednesday, February 04, 2015, in Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with the Rev. Joe Lawson, officiating. Friends and family may gather at the Cemetery at 10:30 A.M. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born December 15, 1947, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Wayne "Tom" & Mamie R. (Carson) Forbes. Married Terry Wendell on September 06, 1969, in Vandalia, IL, he passed away in 2000.
She is survived by: Sons - Jim Wendell & Sloane, San Antonio, TX and Matthew Wendell, Amarillo, TX; Grandson - Dawson Wendell, San Antonio, TX; Sisters - Ruth Ann Scott, Vandalia, IL and Marylin Metzger & Bob, St. Charles, MO; Brother - Bob Forbes & Lori, Kansas City, MO; and Several Nephews & Nieces.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband.
