Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 12, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Harry Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, prior to the service on Monday, August 12, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Fayette County Health Department Home Health, Vandalia, IL and/or Lukiemia Foundation. She was born April 09, 1942, in Williamson Co. IL, the daughter of Jesse M. & Mary J. (Orr) Switzer. Married Brien Dew on September 17, 1961, Carterville, IL, he passed away January 16, 1991. Linda was a Lead Supervisor at Brockway Plastics and a Member of Temple Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL. She is survived by: Son - James E. Dew, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Connie S. Walton & Paul, Vandalia, IL; Brother - Loyd Switzer, Herrin, IL; 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren and Many Nephews & Nieces. Preceded in death by: Parents: Husband - Brien; 7 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
