Linda F. Beckman, 72, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at her home in Vandalia, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Tim Weihrauch officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the service. Memorials: Cardinal Glennon Hospital. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 4, 1950, in Olney, IL, the daughter of Charles R. & Alice I. (Gaddy) Curtis. She worked as a Captain for the Illinois Department of Corrections and retired after 26 years. Linda was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: Mother - Alice Curtis, Normal, IL; Daughters - Eva Combs, Shannon Beckman & Amber Daulbaugh, and Mary Alice Beck & Jeremy, all of Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Carly Kelly, Matthew Beck & Hayley, Jakob Beck & Chelsea Mathenia, Ejay Beck, Elijah Beck & Makayla Blackwell; Great Grandchildren - Bentyn Diveley, Lena Waddell, Adalynn Beck and Austin Beck; Sister - Sandy Hipsher & Robert, Pekin, IL; and Brother - Bill Curtis & Roberta, Bloomington, IL.

Preceded in death by: Her Father; and Grandson - Nicholas Kelly.
