Leota J. Damery, 92, of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Vandalia, IL, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, in Burleson, TX.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, with Rev. Joe Lawson, officiating. She was born November 13, 1922, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Abie & Bessie Mae (Bryan) Dayton. Married Dale Damery on September 14, 1941, in Monroe, MO and divorced February of 1954. Leota worked hard for many years to provide for her children and looked forward to retirement which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her kind and generous nature endeared her to all who knew her and she will be truly missed.

She is survived by: Daughter - Karen Catalano, Colleyville, TX; Son - Ronnie Damery, St. Louis, MO; Sister - Betty Delaine Dayton, St. Louis, MO; Grandchildren - Lisa Catalano, Pamela Catalano Fenwick, Ryan & Shannon Damery; & 3 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Her Parents, Brother - Charles Dayton, Sisters - Julie Dayton and Helen (Dayton) Penrod.
