Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 9, 2019, at McInturff Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. She was born, September 13, 1931, in Shafter Township, Fayette County, IL, the daughter of Forrest Ray & Lela F. (Lash) Vaughn. Married Lloyd Shelton Donaldson , April 10, 1955, in Ramsey, IL, Lloyd passed away August 4,1990. Leola was a former Belle Telephone operator, P.N. Hirsch Warehouse employee, Avon representative and desk clerk at Jay's Motel all in Vandalia, Illinois. She was affiliated with the Baptist Faith,

She is survived by: Sons - Marion Donaldson & Candi, Dahlgren, IL and Mark Donaldson & Cheryle, Vandalia, IL; Step-Daughters - Norma Rickman, Vandalia, IL and Nancy Savage, Collinsville, IL; Several Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Daughter - Martha Elder, Mulberry Grove, IL and Beloved Cainine Suzie.

Preceded in death by: Her parents, husband and 3 infant siblings.
