Funeral Services will be Masonic Rites, held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with Rev. Joe Lawson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, before the service at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia. Memorials: Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL. He was born November 21, 1927, in Gideon, MO, the son of Leander & Hazel Irene (Ellis) Poe. Married Kathleen (Williams) Poe July 30, 1966, Perkin, MO. (Lee was raised by his step father Walter and Hazel Bailey). He was a retired Over The Road Truck Driver and former School Bus Driver for Vandalia Community Schools. Lee was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of the Unity Baptist Church and Temperance Lodge # 16, A.F.A.M. both of Vandalia, IL.

He is survived by: Wife - Kathleen Poe, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Angela Poe - Forni, Spring Hills, FL; Sister- Ruby Tisher, Farmington, MO; Nephews - Ronald & Ralph Tisher; Niece - Pamela Brownfield; Several Very Special Friends & Caregivers in the local area.

Preceded in death by: His Parents; Step Father; and 1 Grandchild.
