Larry E. Williams, 76, of Ramsey, IL, passed away Sunday, January 04, 2015, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Bethel Baptist Church, Rt. 185, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Harry Kirk, Rev. Norris Price, & Dr. Ben Foxworth, officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date in Price Cemetery, RFD Oconee, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 AM, *before service* Thursday, at the church. Memorials: Liberty Church, RFD Bingham, IL. He was born on February 05, 1938, in Assumption, IL, the son of Russell Eugene and Amanda Evelyn Cortrecht Williams. He married Coline Mae Buckles in 1957, Patricia Utterback in 1974, later married Linda Price Rickman on November 15, 1994, in Ramsey, IL. He was the Owner/Operator of Central Illinois Aluminum, a member of Bethel Baptist Church, RFD Vandalia, IL affiliated with Liberty Church, RFD Bingham, IL and Ramsey Lions Club. Larry was an Army Veteran, former Mayor of Ramsey, IL and very active in community affairs. He is survived by: Wife - Linda Williams, Ramsey, IL; Sons - Darin Williams, Arvada, CO, Damon Williams, Fillmore, IL, David Nichols, Mattoon, IL; Daughter - Deana Hyde, Cerro Gordo, IL; 8 Grandchildren; Brothers - Wayne Williams, Mt. Zion, IL, Leland "Pete" Williams, Dalton City, IL, Merle Williams, Custer Park, IL; Sister - Phyllis Goodbred, Mt. Zion, IL and several Nephews & Nieces.
