Larry L. Ray, 79, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Per his wishes cremation rites were accorded. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at McInturff Cemetery, rural Vandalia, IL with Pastor Victor Votaw, officiating. He was born November 6, 1941 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Ivan Leone & Lucille (Cahoon) Ray. Larry married Diana K. Nichol. He was a former employee at Vandalia Thoro- Clean; City of Vandalia; and Vandalia Asphalt.

He is survived by: Wife - Diana Ray, Vandalia, IL; Son - Ivan Lee Ray, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Leshalle Eubank and special friend Ed Black, Vandalia, IL; Brother - Richard "Buck" Risley, Decatur, IL; 10 Grandchildren; and Several Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents; 2 Brothers- Cecil and Stanley and 1 Grandson - Roman Eugene Ishum Ray.
