Rev. Larry G. O'Dell, 72, of Ramsey, IL, died on Sunday, June 07, 2015, at his home.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Ramsey in Ramsey, IL, with the Rev. Joe Lawson and Pastor Jeff Shouse, officiating. Burial will follow at Ramsey Cemetery, in Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 09, 2015, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL and 1 hr. before service, 10-11am, Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Ramsey. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, IL, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials: Rehoboth Campgrounds.

He was born May 31, 1943, in Fayette County, IL, the Son of Grover Cleveland Jr. and Emma Louise (Brown) O'Dell. Married Patricia "Pat" Ann Virden, October 25, 1964, in Ramsey, IL. He was a Farmer, Minister, former Bus Driver for Ramsey Community Schools and a member of Pleasant Mound Baptist Church, Mulberry Grove, IL. Larry has pastored several churches over the years, beginning with and including the Prairie Baptist, Van Burensburg Baptist, Liberty Baptist and most recently the Pleasant Mound Baptist Church, Mulberry Grove, IL.

He is survived by: Wife - Patricia "Pat" Ann O'Dell, Ramsey, IL; Sisters - Carolyn Maske, St. Peter, IL; Lois Elaine McCormick, Vandalia, IL; and Norma Kennett & Steve, Brownstown, IL.


Preceded in death by: Parents and Brother - Rick O'Dell, in 2008.
