Larry D. Mabry, 84, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at his home in Vandalia, IL.

He was born August 31, 1935, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Harry Holben & Avis Sarepta (Hooker) Mabry. Married Linda Lou Sanders July 24, 1955, in Vandalia, IL. He was the Owner/Operator of Jay's Motel, Vandalia, IL and he built the Arch there. Larry was affiliated with the First Christian Church; former assistant fire chief, president of the chamber of commerce, president of the park board, all of Vandalia and was a member of the Vandalia Shrine Club.

He is survived by: Wife - Linda Mabry, Vandalia, IL; Son - Mark Mabry, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Jody Goldsboro & Larry, Vandalia, IL; Son-in-law - Joe Pruett, St. Petersburg, FL; 5 Grandchildren - Heidi, Cody, Cory, Adam & Jordan; and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents; and Daughter - Tanna Pruett.
