Kenneth "Ab" W. Smith, 82, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, in Vibra Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 24, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL, with Pastor Joe Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Bolt Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL, with Military Rites. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, November 24, 2017, prior to the service at the funeral home. He was born in Fayette County, IL, the son of Charles "Don" & Wilma (Elam) Smith. He was a retired Metal Sheet Worker for Alton Steel & Laclede Steel; a Korean Army Veteran; affiliated with the Baptist Faith and a Member of U.S. Steel Workers, Local 3643.

Survived by: Brother - Charles Smith, Pana, IL; Half Brother - Gilbert Olive, Mulberry Grove, IL; Several Nephews & Nieces.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Step-Mother - Hattie "Sis" (Devall) Smith;
and Sister - Virginia.
