Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 18, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Vandalia, IL , with the Dr. Roger Grimmett and Rev. Gene Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, in Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Friday, May 18, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL. He is survived by his wife: Martha Ortegren of Godfrey, IL, Son: Alan Ortegren & Bobbi, East Alton, IL, Daughter: Kay Spencer & Allan, Roxana, IL, Grandchildren: Marty & Shelly Spencer, Brian & Marissa Spencer, Sarah & Grant Chappel, Jason & Tabitha Ortegren, Marc Ortegren & Jenni Ortegren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
