Kay Sue Chase, 73, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at her home in Vandalia, IL.

She was born March 25, 1951, in Shafter, IL, the daughter of Bert Alvin & Helen Pauline (Jackson) Harrison. She married Bernard Robert "Bob" Chase on Monday, October 3, 1988, Shafter, IL. He passed away on April 25, 2008. She formerly worked at the Drapery Factory, Crain Packing, Brockway, as an in-home caregiver, and a homemaker. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved her family dearly.

She is survived by: Daughter - Tammy Compton & Todd, Shafter, IL; Granddaughter - Nicole Compton, Vandalia, IL; Brother - E. David Harrison & Cristina "Cris", Shafter, IL.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Brothers - Herbert, Elbert, Dale, and Dean; Sister - Clara.
