She was born February 02, 1929, in Alica, AR, the daughter of Vines Williams & Martha (Huff) Williams-Niswonger. Married Benjamin Pence 1946, later married Lee Poe on July 30, 1966, Perkins, MO., he passed away March 25, 2016. She was a Homemaker and a Member of Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: Son - Larry W. Pence, Shobonier, IL; Daughters - Beverly A. Higgins, Saint Charles, MO & Ginger Taylor, St. Louis, MO; Sisters - Alma Posey, Waterloo, IL and Bonnie Gamble, Maryville, IL; 10 Grandchildren; Many Great Grandchildren; Step-Brothers - Edward Niswonger and Alvin Niswonger, both of Polar Bluff, MO; Step-Sister - Beulah Womper, St. Louis, MO; and Several Nephews & Nieces.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Daughter - Georgia Wiess; Sister - Mabel Rowe; Half Brother - Eugene Niswonger.
