Karen E. Paradee, 61 of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Lakeland Rehab. & Health Care Center, Effingham, IL Services will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at Ramsey Christian Church, Ramsey, IL, with Pastor Terry Sapp, officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, IL. Memorials: To the Family. She was born November 7, 1952 in Pana, Illinois, the daughter of the late V. Lloyd and J. Cathryne "Katie" (Luster) Johnson. Karen was a former beautician and affiliated with the Ramsey Christian Church. She is survived by: sons, Gavin Paradee of Vandalia, IL, & Clayton Paradee of Ramsey, IL; daughter, Jessica Sarchet & Steve of Alma, IL; brother, Charles "Butch" Johnson of Hillsboro, IL; sister, Kay Jones & Leroy of Ramsey, IL; grandchildren: Aubrianna, Jacob, Keocea, Cameron, Zoie, Katie, Shaniqua, Isaiah and Damian; and many friends. She was preceded in death by: parents and brother, Donnie Johnson.
