Judith A. "Judy" Worthington, 77, of Vandalia, IL, died on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at her home. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church in Vandalia, IL with Rev. Kurt Simon officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, in Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Miller Funeral Homes, Vandalia, IL and 9:30AM-10:30AM, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Church (1 hour before the Service) Memorials: First Presbyterian Church Choir and/or Temperance Lodge #16 AF & AM and/or Fayette County Health Department Hospice, all in Vandalia, IL. Judy was born on December 14, 1934, in Harrisburg, IL, the daughter of Harry G. and Mildred (Stiff) Hess. She married Edward C. Worthington on June 14, 1985 in Shobonier, IL. She was a retired Foreman at Crane Packing, Vandalia, IL, a member of First Presbyterian Church, Ladies of the Moose & a former member Vandalia Country & Golf Club, all of Vandalia, IL. She is survived by her Husband: Ed Worthington; 1 Son: Michael Gidcumb & Sandy, 1 Brother: Richard Hess & Juanita, all of Vandalia, IL & 1 Sister: Neva Rae Weatherly & David, Punta Gorda, FL. Preceded in death by Parents & 1 Infant Son.
