Juanita P. Harrison, 94, of Taylor Springs, IL, formerly of Vandalia & Fillmore, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab Ctr., Taylor Springs, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 19, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Fillmore, IL, with Pastor Harry Kirk, officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, August 19, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Fillmore, IL. Memorials: Montgomery Nursing & Rehab Ctr., Taylor Springs, IL.

She was born on May 20, 1922, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Jason C. and Edythe M. (Bess) Carter. She married Gerald S. Harrison July 4, 1941, in St. Charles, Mo., he passed away Nov. 8, 1967. She was a retired Seamstress at Princess Peggy Garment Factory, affiliated with First Christian Church, and enjoyed participating in the Early Bird Bowling League, all of Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: Daughters - Romona Harrison, Silver Spring, MD & Sandra McLuckie & David, Fort Collins, CO; Grandchildren - Michael, Matthew & Sara; Great Grandchildren - Jacob & Shawna; and Sister - Marcella Peek, Riverton, IL.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; 4 Brothers: 6 Sisters.
