Joyce Kidd, 87, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at her home in Vandalia, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 10, 2023, at First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL with Pastor Tom Goodell officiating. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, at a later date. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service at the church. She was born June 20, 1935, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Ralph Perry & Sophia Susan (Scott) Morton. She married Jack Cecil Kidd on December 4, 1954, in Vandalia, IL. He passed away on May 15, 2016. She worked at Fayette County Hospital doing clerical work, was a member of First United Methodist Church and she rarely missed a Sunday; she enjoyed going to her coffee club, gardening, and shopping; she loved her pets and taking care of her grandkids.

She is survived by: Sons - Jeff & Kathy Kidd, Ramsey, IL, Greg Kidd, Oklahoma City, OK, and Mike Kidd & Debra, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Beth Coleman & Jim, Savoy, IL; Grandchildren - Jason, Justin, Kelsi, Jon, Jay, Kylee, Dalton, Wayde, Trey, and Grant; Great Grandchildren - Jill, Carson, Ethan, Kolton, Josh, Jacob, Rian, Connor, Lilah, and Kaylee; and Great Great Grandchild - Tucker.
