Josephine "Jo" E. Rickher, 82, of Springfield, IL, (Formerly of Fillmore, IL) died on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Springfield Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 29, 2011, at Miller Funeral Home in Fillmore, IL with Rev. Ernest Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, in Fillmore, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, August 29, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home, Fillmore, IL (1 hour before the service ) Memorials: American Heart Association. Jo was born on July 29, 1929, in Montgomery County, IL, the daughter of Henry and Helen (Haba) Holzknecht. She married Ramon Carl Rickher on December 30, 1952 in Hillsboro, IL. Ramon passed away on February 27, 2009. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Catholic Faith. She is survived by 1Son: Mark Rickher & Lisa, Matthews, NC 3 Daughters: Marlene Rickher, Springfield, IL; Monica Harden & Russell, Auburn, IL; Mary Van Valkenburg & Jeff, Marengo, IL 8 Grandchildren: Madlyn, Kaitlyn, Naomi, Adrienne, Amanda, Allison, Ashley & Sarah and 1Great Grand Child: Rachel Preceded in death by Parents, Husband, 1 Brother, William and 1 Sister, Madeleine Cameron.
