Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Rev. Joe Lawson, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM,* before service* Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Friends & Families of Fayette Co. Hospital and/or Fayette County Hospital LTC, Vandalia, IL.

He was born June 29, 1953, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Gerald E. & Norma Virginia (Jones) Willms. He was formerly employed at Old Goat Mowing, Brownstown Lumber and was the grounds keeper at Vandalia Country and Golf Club. Joe graduated from SIU with a degree in Botany

He is survived by: Brothers - Paul "Whitey" Willms & Susan, Shobonier, IL and John Willms & Kathy, Brownstown, IL; Several Nephews & Nieces.

Preceded in death by: Parents; 1 Brother - Melvin Willms, 2012; Special Friend, Aileen Tinker
